Kick the flu bug

I am not a shaman but sometimes I like to pretend I am. While some Tylenol Cold is always great for drugging you up and making you sleep off your sickness, I insist on taking this Wellness Shot.  Every time I feel a little inkling of sickness coming on, I down this shot like I’m Lindsay Lohan in Ibiza.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
-1 dash of Cayenne Pepper
 (effective at treating fevers, poor circulation, digestive complaints like bloating and nausea, inflammation, sore throats)
-1 slice of lemon
 (boosts immunity, detoxifies the body) 
-1 slice of ginger 
(eliminates congestion, kills bacteria, eases throat pain and inflammation, combats fever and chills, soothes upset stomach)
-1 apple
(an apple a day, keeps the doctor away…DUH)
-20 drops of Echinacea
(helps maintain the body’s defenses and is also immune-supporting)
-2 drops of Oil of Oregano 
(highly antibacterial, can probably kill off an alien if ever face to face with one)
Using a juicer, blend all the ingredients together. This will make a little over 2 shots so take one in the morning and one in the late afternoon. 
 
(If you don’t have a juicer, you can use a blender or magic bullet and just add some water or coconut water to get things moving)
