My absolutely favourite thing to do in the summer is to spend time up north at the cottage with my girlfriends. City living can definitely wear you down at times…especially when the weather is nice and there are 3829 plans happening all the time. There is no better escape from this than the cottage.
The calming lake, being bare feet on the dock and the green trees that perch from the rocks give me a feeling of peace and calmness like no other place. Although I love me an ocean…I feel like this atmosphere feels more like heaven to me.
It was a complete girls weekend where we had wine beginning at 4PM, did smores, read celebrity magazines and shared many laughs as usual. Wherever the wind may take us in life…I seriously hope that spending time at the cottage once every summer will never stop!
