Jeans & Top: Jean Machine, Purse: Old Navy, Shoes: Franco Sarto
A few weeks ago I headed to the Field Trip Festival in Toronto with Jean Machine where I frolicked around in my festival favourites- jean shorts and a crop top. Simple pieces, comfy cuts and can be worn over and over in so many different ways! Although it’s fun to get a bit playful at music festivals ( I certainly wouldn’t wear this to a family dinner HA)- I find that in the last few years people try to look like they are dressing up for Halloween and spend more time looking different than wearing what they want. When my Instagram feed is filled with Indian head pieces, obscene sized flower crowns, unitard bodysuits and other bizarre pieces that you know people specifically bought for the festival- you know it’s Coachella. Andddd rant done!
These jean shorts are by far the most comfortable things I have worn in a while and it was so nice to sit down (cross legged) on the grass. Let’s be serious– some other jean shorts I have owned have not allowed for me to bend over, let alone cross my legs so amen that these ones are stretchy yet snug. I paired this casual look with my new cross over bag from Old Navy which was perfect and sleek for keeping all my goodies stashed away ( aka Pocky sticks and other candy treats hehe)
