When my Emoji keyboard didn’t have a taco or champagne emoji- I felt robbed. Why you gotta leave out the most important things to me? When I saw they did a massive update-I was excited to see all the new additions- I still felt like they missed so many other key things. One of them being no curly hair Emoji!
Last week that changed- when Dove Hair released an amazing variety of curly hair emojis AND animated GIFS to go along with it. My girlfriends and I are able to accurately show how we will be wearing our hair before a night out…seriously no words necessary- I just use one of the many hair varieties they have on there and they get the visual!
I used to not always be a fan of my naturally wavy and curly hair. Like many girls- I always wanted what I didnt have but the one thing that is amazing about getting older is that you start loving yourself more and realizing that true beauty is being in happy with who you are as a person. It truly radiates! I stopped blow drying my hair straight and let my curl flag wave high! My hair and I both felt free! If I had to sum up how my hair felt…using one of the emojiis…it would be this:
My hairdresser too started to see how more much healthier my hair was. Natural=better! If you have wavy or curly hair- I suggest you drop the flat iron and “LoveyourCurls!
