17 Best Dining Experiences at Disney World that you can’t miss

The reason I love Disney world is for the magic of course but a close second would be for the dining and snacks! Because IYKYK.

Disney world’s food scene…if you know where to go…is amazing and super fun to explore! I love having the classics and visiting places that I know are tried and true but it’s also fun to experiement from time to time

This list will leave you hungry but it will also leave you feeling prepared to make the proper reservatons for your Disney trip!

Tips for Securing the best dining in Disney world

  • Book 60 days out! Set your alarms because some of the popular dining options at Disney book FAST! Especially if your party is larger
  • If you can’t find a reservation, use a 3rd party service like Add More Magic! This is how we got a Cinderella’s Royal Table reso for 9 people! It’s basically like a bot system that searches for cancellations
  • Be flexible with times! Eating lunch at 11:30AM? Not the biggest deal.
  • Factor about 1.5 hours at the restaurant if you are trying to plan out the rest of your day

1. Cinderella’s Royal Table (Magic Kingdom)

Dining inside Cinderella Castle is one of the most iconic experiences at Walt Disney World. Guests are treated like royalty while enjoying a prix-fixe meal surrounded by stained glass windows, stone archways and princess appearances. It’s especially magical for young Disney fans and first-time visitors. Personally, this was our favourite dining in Disney world for our family ( we do have two princess obsessed kiddos!)

Pro: Unmatched Disney atmosphere inside the castle.
Con: One of the most expensive dining reservations in Disney World.


2. Be Our Guest Restaurant (Magic Kingdom)

Step inside Beast’s Castle and dine in one of Disney’s most beautifully themed restaurants. Guests can explore the Grand Ballroom, West Wing and Castle Gallery while enjoying French-inspired cuisine. This is considered one of the best dining in disney world if you are a Beauty and the Beast fan! The attention to detail makes it feel like you’ve stepped directly into Beauty and the Beast.

Pro: Incredible theming and immersive experience.
Con: Food quality doesn’t always live up to the hype.


3. Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen (Adventureland)- Best Dining in Disney world that is underrrated

This is one of Disney World’s most underrated restaurants and a personal favorite among Disney fans. Inspired by the Jungle Cruise attraction, the restaurant is filled with quirky artifacts, hidden details, and the same pun-filled humor you’ll find on the ride.

The menu is more adventurous than typical Magic Kingdom fare, featuring Asian, African, and South American-inspired dishes alongside some safer options for picky eaters. The margs are so refreshing on a hot Disney day and the kids LOVED the orange popscile slushie ( tip: ask them to split it for your kids- went a long way and saves you some money!)

Pro: One of the best-quality meals in Magic Kingdom with fantastic theming.
Con: The menu can feel intimidating for guests looking for traditional Disney food.


4. Oga’s Cantina (Hollywood Studios)- Best Dining in Disney world for Star Wars fan!

Located inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Oga’s Cantina feels like you’ve landed on another planet. The lively atmosphere, themed drinks and galactic soundtrack create one of the most immersive experiences in Disney World. Even non-Star Wars fans can appreciate the attention to detail.

Pro: One of the most immersive themed venues in Disney.
Con: Limited food offerings and most guests stand.


5. Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant (Hollywood Studios)

This fan-favorite restaurant lets guests dine inside vintage convertibles while watching classic sci-fi movie clips. The drive-in movie atmosphere is unlike anything else at Disney World. It’s nostalgic, fun and surprisingly cool on a hot Florida day.

Pro: Unique dining experience kids and adults love.
Con: Food is good but not exceptional.


6. Roundup Rodeo BBQ (Hollywood Studios)

Andy’s backyard comes to life at this Toy Story-themed family-style barbecue restaurant. Oversized toys, colorful dรฉcor and playful interactions make it a hit with families. The all-you-care-to-enjoy barbecue platters are generous and shareable.

This is a fan favourite so make sure to get reservations quick!!!

Pro: Fantastic theming for families with young children.
Con: Can feel pricey for barbecue.


7. Tusker House Restaurant (Animal Kingdom)

Tusker House combines excellent food with one of Disney’s best character dining experiences. Mickey and friends appear in safari outfits while guests enjoy African-inspired dishes alongside familiar favorites. It offers something a little different from the typical Disney buffet. This is the best dining in Disney world if you want a Character experience too if you ask me!

Pro: Great food and excellent character interactions.
Con: Reservations can be difficult to secure.


8. Space 220 Restaurant (EPCOT)

Your dining experience begins with a simulated elevator ride 220 miles above Earth. Once “in space,” panoramic windows provide stunning views of astronauts and spacecraft floating by. The atmosphere alone makes this one of Disney World’s most memorable restaurants.

Pro: One of Disney’s most unique dining concepts.
Con: Premium pricing.


9. Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria (EPCOT)

Located in the Italy Pavilion, Via Napoli serves some of the best pizza in all of Disney World. The pizzas are cooked in wood-burning ovens imported from Italy and are perfect for sharing with family. It’s a reliable crowd-pleaser for all ages.

If you love Italian food, this is the best dining in Disney world for that option!

Pro: Arguably the best pizza on Disney property.
Con: Can be loud and busy.


10. Le Cellier Steakhouse (EPCOT)

Hidden inside the Canada Pavilion, Le Cellier has built a reputation as one of Disney World’s top steakhouses. The cozy cellar atmosphere and famous cheddar cheese soup keep guests coming back year after year. It’s an excellent choice for a date night or adult meal.

Pro: Outstanding steaks and signature cheese soup.
Con: Small dining room can feel cramped.


11. Chefs de France (EPCOT)

This charming French restaurant offers a classic Parisian dining experience in the heart of EPCOT. The menu includes French staples like onion soup, crรจme brรปlรฉe and escargot. Its location makes it perfect for people-watching along World Showcase.

Pro: Authentic French atmosphere and cuisine.
Con: Menu may be adventurous for picky eaters.


12. La Hacienda de San Angel (EPCOT)

Located on the shores of World Showcase Lagoon, La Hacienda offers some of the best waterfront views in Disney World. The authentic Mexican menu and floor-to-ceiling windows create a memorable dining experience. Evening reservations often come with fireworks views.

This is the best dining in Disney world if you want a sit down Mexican option. Definitely one of our favs!!!

Pro: Incredible waterfront location.
Con: Service can occasionally be slow.


13. Topolino’s Terrace โ€“ Flavors of the Riviera (Disney’s Riviera Resort)

Topolino’s has quickly become one of the most sought-after character breakfasts on Disney property. Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy appear in exclusive artist-inspired outfits. The rooftop views and elevated menu make it feel more upscale than many character meals. You can see some of the menus here

Pro: Best character breakfast at Disney World.
Con: Extremely difficult reservation to get.


14. California Grill (Disney’s Contemporary Resort)

Perched atop Disney’s Contemporary Resort, California Grill offers panoramic views of Magic Kingdom and Seven Seas Lagoon. The menu focuses on fresh seafood, sushi and seasonal dishes. Timing your meal with the fireworks can make for an unforgettable evening.

Pro: Spectacular fireworks views.
Con: High price point.


15. Ravello (Four Seasons Resort Orlando)

If you’re willing to venture beyond Disney-owned restaurants, Ravello is worth the trip. It’s still on a “Disney property” but its at the Four Seasons. And the hotel alone is worth the visit.

This elegant Italian restaurant serves house-made pasta, excellent wine and some of the best service you’ll find anywhere near the parks. It feels like a true luxury dining experience yet at the same time it feels casual and they cater to kids!!!

Pro: Exceptional food and service.
Con: Requires leaving the Disney bubble.

16. ‘Ohana (Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort)

‘Ohana remains a Disney classic thanks to its family-style feast and tropical atmosphere. Guests enjoy skewers of grilled meats, noodles and the famous bread pudding dessert. The Polynesian setting makes it feel like a mini Hawaiian vacation.

Pro: Legendary bread pudding and family-style meal.
Con: Menu is fixed with limited flexibility.


17. Steakhouse 71 (Disney’s Contemporary Resort)

Inspired by the opening year of Walt Disney World, Steakhouse 71 combines nostalgic Disney history with excellent comfort food. The burgers, steaks and famous Stack Burger have earned a cult following among Disney fans. It’s one of the best values for quality dining on property.

Pro: Great value compared to other Disney steakhouses.
Con: Lacks the over-the-top theming of many Disney restaurants.
