After Santa Fe, we started to head east towards Texas and Oklahoma. I have been DYING to go to Texas and was slightly bummed that I couldn’t road trip down to Austin and Marfa (too out of the way and not enough time) but nonetheless I was excited to see this state…even if it was for a hot minute!
We knew we were well into Texas when we started to see churches, anti abortion billboards, firework warehouses, and lunch portions big enough to feed a family of 3. We stopped in Amarillo to see the infamous Cadallic Ranch art installation and had some fun spray painting the cars. Sometimes I’m 28, most of the time I am 21 which is why I OBVIOUSLY had to spray paint Tim Riggins name in a heart (FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS FOREVER). If you didn’t watch the show…disregard this completely!
Although our time was short and sweet, I will be back Texas!
